Senior Malaria Advisor for USAID’S Project TUBITEHO (LN)
The position will be based in Burundi and hired by LN. The Senior Malaria Advisor will assist the Technical Director in carrying out the technical oversight and management functions of the Activity. S/he will ensure that Activity interventions are of high quality, adhere to USG and Burundian MOH malaria technical guidance and global best practices, and will also be responsible for guiding the design of specific, quantifiable performance indicators and targets and reporting results. Technical Director/Deputy Chief of Party for USAID’s Project TUBITEHO (LN)
The position will be based in Burundi and hired by LN. The Technical Director / Deputy Chief of Party will be responsible for the various technical components of the activity, including the technical and clinical aspects of the delivery of Maternal, Neonatal and Infant Health services, and Malaria care. He / she will ensure the achievement of the required objectives and timely, high-quality deliverables. The Technical Director participates in technical meetings, understands national guidelines and supports on-site training, tutoring, supervision and mentoring to ensure accurate referral, provision and documentation of service provision and clinical outcomes. Chief of Party for USAID’S Project TUBITEHO (JSI)
The COP is the primary liaison with USAID on technical matters and must adjust interventions and operations in response to USAID technical direction. The COP is responsible for ensuring quality control and the overall responsiveness of technical assistance provided under the award. Director of Finance & Administration for USAID’s Project TUBITEHO (JSI)
The Director of Finance and Administration will be responsible for the management of all of the project’s financial and administrative operations. S/he will work closely with the Chief of Party in the oversight of program functions, support, and guidelines. S/he will ensure that the financial systems and internal controls are in place and comply with the standard US Government rules and regulations, and JSI/HQ policy and procedures. S/he will serve as the focal person for all budget and disbursement processes of the JSI field office. She/he will coordinate and liaise with JSI/HQ in Boston on all financial matters as necessary. Senior Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Advisor for USAID’s Project TUBITEHO (JSI)
The Senior MEL Advisor ensures monitoring of Activity interventions and tracking of Activity progress against expected results and performance indicators. S/he ensures timely and accurate reporting by all clinical and community sites and produces reports for both Activity management and required reporting purposes.
