09 Mar Careers: Partnership Lead – Washington, D.C.
LifeNet International, a rapidly growing Christian social impact organization dedicated to improving the healthcare of millions of people across the continent of Africa, is searching for the right candidate to serve as its Partnership Lead based Washington, D.C.
LifeNet aims to stop preventable deaths in sub-Saharan Africa, especially for mothers and children, by ensuring faith-based, community health facilities provide high quality healthcare. These facilities are the first, and often only, point of care that is accessible for the most vulnerable. Additionally, across the African continent, these facilities provide 40% of health services—as LifeNet improves care and stops preventable deaths here, health realities will drastically improve for millions.
LifeNet currently works with 500+ faith-based health facilities across 7 countries, including Burundi, Burkina Faso, DRC, Uganda, Malawi, Kenya, and Ghana. This network delivers essential services to the lowest quintile patients, maintaining international standards of care within safe and well-managed facilities thanks to ongoing training, tools and quality assurance from LifeNet.
The Partnerships Lead will authentically and skillfully build relationships with philanthropic families; seek ways to support their philanthropic efforts; authentically build trust between the families, their foundation and family office staff teams, and LifeNet; and provide opportunities for families to invest in the health and wellbeing of millions. This position will skillfully pursue and manage a portfolio of 80 philanthropic families, driving $2M-$3M of annual donations to support LifeNet’s lifesaving work. While a small percentage of the Partnerships Lead accounts are currently funding LifeNet, about 80% are qualified and waiting for the Partnerships Lead’s skilled relationship building to move through LifeNet’s sales process. The Partnerships Lead will work in close coordination with the VP of Advancement and the entire Advancement team. This position will also work closely with VP of Programs, and other members of the LifeNet team, including Operations and Finance teammates.
