LifeNet M&E Team Leader Presents at ANDE Conference

In the first quarter of 2018, Luke Aldridge participated in a panel presentation at the Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs (ANDE) Metrics from the Ground Up conference. Aldridge is the Monitoring & Evaluation Team Leader at LifeNet International. The 2018 ANDE conference focused on the theme of “aligning impact” and was held in Nairobi, Kenya.

Aldridge participated in a panel presentation and discussion led by Vera Solutions, who provide valuable Salesforce consulting services to LifeNet. The presentation centered on how social enterprises and organizations can leverage cutting-edge technology to better measure and understand the impact of their programs. Through the discussion and presentation, members of the conference explored strategies and tools that can enable organizations to collect, disseminate, and learn from program monitoring data.

“The ANDE Metrics conference was a great opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with organizations from across the world who are committed to creating social impact in a wide range of sectors,” said Aldridge. “We, alongside Vera Solutions and Zana Africa, showcased examples of how we use Salesforce and other technology to better track, evaluate, and understand the outputs and impact we produce through our organizations. The main message I hoped to convey was that with a little bit of adaptation and ingenuity, we can leverage the same tools used by most Fortune 500 companies to improve our programming and amplify social impact here in sub-Saharan Africa.”

Through the use of Salesforce and other technology, LifeNet rigorously tracks the impact of its programs with partner health facilities in sub-Saharan Africa.
