LN Awarded General Electric (GE) Healthymagination Grant

In October 2017, General Electric (GE), along with the Miller Center for Social Entrepreneurship, awarded LifeNet a grant through the GE Healthymagination Mother & Child Alumni Technical Assistance Grant Program. Through Healthymagination, GE seeks to “bring better health to more people.”

With funding from the Healthymagination grant, LifeNet will pilot a cost-effective electronic record-keeping system designed and developed for low-resourced environments. Through this pilot, LifeNet will transform clinical documentation for thousands of mothers and children in Uganda, addressing a critical need that pervades the healthcare system in sub-Saharan Africa.
