The second quarter of 2019 included exciting news for LifeNet. The organization was awarded a Transition to Scale Grant from Grand Challenges Canada, which will invest in the organization’s work in Burundi and the DRC. Q2 also included a Leadership Summit in Malawi, which brought together LifeNet country directors and other leaders along with David Scheiman, LifeNet’s VP of Programs. These leaders shared growth strategies, discussed projects, planned for the future, and solved challenges together.
Throughout Q2, we consistently observed improvement in healthcare quality among our partner facilities as they move through the LifeNet curriculum and acquire the skills and tools they need to serve their patients well and with renewed confidence.
